Bakersfield Business Community Offers Support for Tejon Mountain Village |
Bakersfield, Calif. (September 1, 2009) - In separate letters to the Kern County Planning Commission, the Greater Bakersfield and Kern County Hispanic chambers of commerce outlined their support for Tejon Mountain Village, a proposed mountain resort community on Tejon Ranch. Each chamber cited the community’s benefits, including added jobs, increased economic activity, increased tourism and commercial opportunities, and proposed environmental sustainability, as the key reasons to support the community’s development.
